Analyses of Blood Chemistry and Electrolytesof Human Exposure to Fluoride in Drinking Water

  • The prupose of this investigation was to determine blood chemistry amd electrolytes of long-erm exposure to various concentration of fluoride in chinking water in humans with normal or inadequate nutrition.Six groups of 720 subjects with ether normalor inaedequate nutritional intakes were selected from areas of 0.23,1.0,4.9 mg/L and 0.11,0.9,4.8mg/L fluoride in drinking water average 46 years.Samples of plasma were examined to analyze 16 chemistry and electrolytes as the same methods, the same instrumens and the same expecnental staffs. The results showed that the values of blood chemistry and electrolytes were all with in the normal range regardless of fluoride exposure and nutritional conditoion.Howgradless of alkaline phosphatase aetlvlty were higher in the subject wlth fluoride exposure and inadequate nutrltion.
