Data from a community-based random sample of 8982male adults over 40 years of age residing in two cities,China,were used to exan ine the relatpnship bewteen occupatpnal exposures to dustsand gases/finnes and physician diagnosed asthna.The prevalence of asthma was 1.17 percent A fter adpsting for age,educatpry area of ressnoking statu and use of coalstoves for heating.
