Follow-up Analysis of The Patients with Impaired Glucose Tolerance

One hundred Seventy eight patients with impaired glucose tolerance(IGT)were followed up in the three years.The results showed that the rate of Transformation of IGT to diabetes mellitus(DM)was 35.96%.The higher of 2 hour blood glucose after 75g OGTT,BMI,DBP is the risk factor,The more physical activity is the protective factor for IGT developed into DM.On the other hand,the lower 2 hour blood glucose after 75g OGTT is protective factor for the IGT transformation into normal glucose tolerance(NGT).
