实验室智能化技术与智能化生物安全实验室研究进展

Research progress in laboratory intelligence technology and biosafety laboratory: a review

  • 摘要: 生物安全实验室是现代生物科学研究的重要基础设施,是开展病原微生物相关实验的核心载体,更是国家生物安全体系的关键环节。但当前生物安全实验室普遍面临人工操作任务繁重、人员直接接触高危病原导致生物安全风险较高的问题,推进其智能化无人化运行已成为亟待解决的关键需求。本文系统检索并综述了 2018 年 1 月 1 日至 2025 年 9 月 1 日实验室智能化技术与智能化生物安全实验室的研究成果,重点聚焦与生物安全实验室应用密切相关的智能化技术及设备,深入分析实验室智能化从单一操作自动化到自动化实验流水线系统、再到功能可配置的自动化生化实验室系统的演进路径,以及数字化运维管理领域的进展。研究旨在为生物安全实验室突破人工操作局限、实现智能化无人化转型提供实践参考,助力减少实验人为误差、提升实验精准度与安全性,推动生物安全实验室向高效、安全的智能化方向发展。

     

    Abstract: Biosafety laboratories are essential infrastructure for modern biological research, serving as the core platform for pathogen-related experiments and a critical component of the national biosafety system. However, current biosafety laboratories generally face challenges such as heavy manual operational tasks and high biosafety risks due to direct exposure of personnel to hazardous pathogens. Advancing intelligent unmanned operation has thus become an urgent priority. This paper systematically reviews the research findings on laboratory intelligent technologies and intelligent biological safety laboratories from January 1, 2018 to September 1, 2025, with a focus on intelligent technologies and equipment closely related to biosafety laboratory applications. It delves into the evolution of laboratory intelligence—from single-operation automation to automated experimental pipeline systems and further to function-configurable automated biochemistry laboratory systems—along with advancements in digital operation and maintenance management. The review aims to offer practical references for biosafety laboratories to overcome manual operational limitations and evolve into intelligent unmanned ones, helping reduce human-induced experimental errors to enhance experimental accuracy and safety, and promote the development of biosafety laboratories toward efficient, secure, and intelligent directions.
