Abstract: With the process of aging, elderly care has become a serious problem in coping with the aging of the population in China. Nowadays, putting more concerns on daily life care but less on medical service for the elderly is a prevalent circumstance in China. Aimed to provide references for developing an endowment pattern combining medical service and elderly care, this study analyzes the status quo of the current model of nursing and elderly care and summarizes the relevant supporting policies and service models introduced in recent years in China, and puts forward a series of problems and related suggestions.
