- 2) variants, the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID
- 19) pandemic will inevitably pose formidable challenges to the prevention and treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, while pushing HIV positive individuals to a greater disadvantage. This article reviews the disease progression of HIV positive individuals infected with SARS
- COV
- 2, covering impacts of COVID
- 19 on HIV positive individuals and AIDS patients' diagnosis/treatment and psychological condition to provide a reference for developing related researches and optimizing HIV prevention and treatment under the context of COVID
- 19 pandemic.
