中国6省(直辖市)居民营养成分表使用意愿及其影响因素分析

Willingness and influencing factors of nutrition facts panel use among residents in six provincial-level administrative regions across China

      目的  了解中国6省(直辖市)居民营养成分表使用意愿及其影响因素,为开展营养标签推广活动提供参考依据。
      方法  于2020年7月 — 2021年3月采用多阶段分层随机抽样方法在北京、江苏、广东、黑龙江、河南和四川6省(直辖市)中抽取3037名居民进行营养成分表使用意愿问卷调查,并采用多因素非条件logistic回归模型分析居民营养成分表使用意愿的影响因素。
      结果  中国6省(直辖市)最终纳入分析的3002名居民中,有1281名(42.67 %)居民购买预包装食品时愿意使用营养成分表;1281名愿意使用营养成分表居民对糖、蛋白质、盐(钠)、脂肪、能量、碳水化合物、饱和脂肪(酸)和反式脂肪(酸)的关注度分别为94.85 %、92.97 %、92.58 %、92.19 %、89.77 %、85.56 %、80.95 %和80.64 %;多因素非条件logistic回归分析结果显示,文化程度高中/技校/中专及以上、家里有 < 18周岁孩子、认为不合理膳食会带来健康问题、饮食习惯一般和好的居民更愿意使用营养成分表,年龄 ≥ 60周岁、不知道自身体重状况和购买预包装食品 ≥ 1次/周的居民不愿意使用营养成分表。
      结论  中国6省(直辖市)居民营养成分表使用意愿不高,年龄、文化程度、是否家里有 < 18周岁孩子、感知自身体重状况、是否认为不合理膳食会带来健康问题、饮食习惯和预包装食品购买频率为居民营养成分表使用意愿的主要影响因素。

     

    Abstract:
      Objective   To examine the willingness to use food nutrition facts panel (NFP) and its influencing factors among residents in six provincial-level administrative divisions (PLADs) across China and to provide a reference for the promotion of food nutrition labeling.
      Methods   Using stratified multistage random sampling, we recruited 3 037 permanent adult residents (aged 18 – 70 years) of 120 urban communities/rural villages in Beijing municipality and Jiangsu, Guangdong, Heilongjiang, Henan, and Sichuan province. Face-to-face interviews were conducted among the residents from July 2020 through March 2021 with a self-designed electronic questionnaire about the willingness to use NFP of packaged foods. Unconditional multivariate logistic regression model was adopted to analyze factors affecting residents’ willingness to use the NFP.
      Results   Of the 3 002 participants with valid respondence, 42.67% (1 281) reported the willingness to use NFP when buying pre-packaged food. Among the 1 281 participants willing to use the NFP, 94.85% reported the attention to sugar content listed in the NFP, followed by 92.97% to protein, 92.58% to salt (sodium), 92.19% to fat, 89.77% to energy amount, 85.56% to carbohydrate, 80.95% to saturated fatty acid, and 80.64% to trans fatty acid, respectively. The results of logistic regression analysis showed that the participants with following characteristics were more likely to use NFP: with the education of high school/technical school/technical secondary school and above, with a family member under 18 years old, being aware of adverse effect of unreasonable diet structure on health, and having a fair or good diet habit; while, the participants aged 60 years and above, being not aware of own body weight, and buying pre-packaged food at least once a week were less likely to use NFP.
      Conclusion   Among adult residents in six PLADs, the proportion of those willing to use NFP when buying pre-packaged food is not high and the willingness is mainly influenced by age, education, whether with a family member aged less than 18 years, the awareness of own body weight, the awareness of adverse effect of unreasonable diet structure on health, diet habit, and the frequency of buying pre-packaged food.
