Current situation and future development of health education in hospital: a brief discussion

摘要

摘要: 近年来，慢性病高发在我国以及全世界范围内造成了沉重的健康和经济负担，而健康教育正是慢性病防治的有效途径，也是健康中国建设的重要组成部分。医院作为我国医疗服务的主体，在广大群众中具有权威性和可信度，具备健康教育优势，能够促进患者乃至全社会公众的健康素养和健康水平的提高。本文对当前医院健康教育的组织架构、工作机制和主要形式等现状进行了系统的概述，对国内外取得的经验和不足进行了介绍，并对未来的发展方向进行了思考与展望，以期为医院健康教育工作的开展和更好地满足新时期群众的健康需求、推进健康中国建设提供理论依据。

Abstract: In recent years, the high incidence of chronic diseases has caused a heavy health and economic burden in China and around the world. Health education is an effective way to prevent and control chronic diseases, and an important component of building a healthy China. As the main body of medical services in China, hospitals have authority and credibility on health promotion among the masses. Hospitals could take natural advantages in carrying out health education and in improving health literacy and health level of patients and the public. In this article, we conducted a systematic overview on current organizational structure, working mechanism, and main forms of hospital health education, discussed the experience and shortcomings of hospital - based health education at home and abroad, and made a prospect on the development of hospital health education in the future for promoting the health education in China.
