Abstract:
Satellite remote sensing technology, known for its efficiency in data acquisition, short cycle, and significant benefit ratio, has been widely used in various fields. This article reviews the literature from recent years to summarize and analyze the application of satellite remote sensing technology in public health both domestically and internationally. The technology demonstrates strong potential across several areas of health, including epidemiology, environmental health, healthcare management, and the response to emergent public health events. It is suggested that China should draw on international experience to further expand the application of satellite remote sensing technology in the nation′s public health sector. This includes broadening the scope of epidemiological surveillance, establishing the relationship between environmental factors and health outcomes, and promoting interdisciplinary research. Such expansion will provide more comprehensive and accurate data support for the high-quality development of China′s health and wellness initiatives.
