Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore the risk factors of NIDDM.Methods100 NIDDM patients who corresponded to the standard of diagnosis were selected in seven hospitals of Nanchang city from Feburary to May in 2000,and NON-NIDDM patients as contrastin the same hospitials were selected with the ratio of 1B1 of same sex,difference within 5 years,similar residental districts,then a 1B1 matched case-control study was carried out.ResultsAfter being analysed by Logistic analysis of single factor,it showed that the NIDDM groups were evidently higher than the NON-NIDDM groups in family history,hyper tension,obesity,eating too plentiful fat,liking meats,liking eggs,liking vegetables,etc.Then Logistic regression analysis of many factors was conducted on basis of Logistic analysis of single factor.It showed the NIDDM groups were evidently hig her than NON-NIDDM groups in family history,hypertension,eating too plentiful fat.ConclusionFamily history,hyper tension,eating too plentiful fat were risk factors of NI DDM.Itindicated that prevention for NIDDM should execute sy nthetic methods and control all kinds of risk factors.
