Abstract: Objective To study the behavior of masturbation in female college students.Methods Female college students were sampled by cluster sampling and investigated by questionnaire survey on anonymous basis.Results A total of 4769 students was surveyed.It was found that 23.8% of the students had masturbation.There were statistical differences in incidences of masturbation among students of different majors,with the incidence being the highest in sciences and technology majors(27.9%).A nalysis by logistic regression,behavior of masturbation was obviously influenced by major,culture degree of parents,occupation of father,familycs living environment,supervising ways of parents in the period of childhood and teenager,and happiness in family during period of childhood and teenage.Conclusion Among female college students,there was high rate of masturbation,and their masturbation behavior was influenced by major and some factors of pupulation environment.
