Abstract:
Objective To analyze the validity and the responsivity of the chronic gastritis scale of the systemic quality of life instrument for chronic diseases(QLICD-CG).
Methods 124 cases of chronic gastritis inpatients were measured by QLICD-CG before and after treatment. The validity of the instrument was evaluated by the content validity, constructive validity and criterion validity with item-facets and item-doma in correlation analysis and factor analysis.Responsivity was evaluated by comparing the scores between the domains and facets before and after treatment with the change percentage in each facets score and the index of SRM.
Results Almost all of the correlation coefficients between each item and it's facet or domain were higher than the item with other facetor other domains, and most of those correlation coefficients were above 0.6.The clinical changes of the each domain due to the treatment can be detected by the scale, especially in the specific domain(SRM=1.79)and the facet of the unwell of upper abdomen(SRM=1172).
Conclusion The QLICD-CG is valid, sens itive and reasonable operation in clinical settings, and it can be used to assess quality of life for patients with chronic gastritis.
