Abstract:
ObjectiveTo investigate the effects of hypoxia exposure on speun quality and intervention of compound Codonopsis pilosula.
MethodsThirty-seven youth inm igrated to high altitude(5200m)for 1 year(HA group) were examfined for speun iation quantity, speun density, colliquation time, activity rate, motoricity, seminal plasm a fructose,α-glucosiBase, AC-PH, acrosomal enzyme, zinc and compared with the Champaign group (
n=13).Subjects in HA group were divided into compound Codonopsis pilosula group (
n=18) and placebo group(
n=19) then taken compound Codonopsis pilosula or placebo twice per day for 3 months Speun samples were collected and detected after the drug with drawal.
ResultsSpeun activity rate, density, sem final plasm a fructose,α-glucosidase, AC-PH, acrosomal enzyma and zinc in HA group were significandy lower than those of Champaign group (
P<0.01 or
P<0.05).Speun activity rate, plasm a fructose and acrosomal enzyme in placebo group were significantly lower than those of Champaign gomp(
P<0.01).Acrosomal enzyme and zinc increased significantly in compound Codonopsis pilosula group compared with the placebo group(
P<0.05).
ConclusionSpeun quality can degrade after living at high altitude for 1 year and can't complete recovery after returning to plain for 3 months and compound Codonopsis pilosula has some effect on sperm quality recovery.
