Abstract:
Ob jective To study effects of vitamin A,C,Eintake on mim une indicators in children with multi-variable analysis.
MethodsTotally 293 studen ts from 1-6 grades were investigated about their general state of health,5 days diet and 1 month food frequency and 262 childrens' immune indicators were determined with the consents of their parents. The intakes were transformed with nutrition calculator V 1.6.The data were analyzed with SPSS 11.5 software.
ResultsVitamin Aintake had effects on CD4

+,IL-2,IgGand IgM.When vitamin Aintakes were be low 40-20% of reference nutrient intake(RNI),the leves of IL-2,CD4
+/CD8
+,IgGand CD4
+ were lower than normal leve ls.When vitamin Aintake was be low 100% of RNI,IgM was higher than normal level.Vitamin Cintake had effects on CD3
+,IgA and IgM.When vitamin Cintakes were be low 100% of RNI or 80% of RN,ICD3
+ and IgA were less than normal. When vitamin Cintake was be low 60% of RNI,IgM was higher than that of normal levels.Vitamin Eintake had effects on CD4
+,IL-2 and IgG.When vitamin Eintakes were below 120% of adequa teintake(AI)or 80% of AI,the levels of mimunity indicators were lower than normal level.
ConclusionChildrens' mimune levels are normal when their intakes of vitamin A≥120% of RNI,vitamin C≥120% of RNI,and vitamin E≥160% of AI.
