Evaluation of soybean isoflavones intervention on breast cancer in transgenic female mice

  • 摘要: 目的 探讨大豆异黄酮对MMTV-erbB-2转基因雌性小鼠乳腺癌发生、发展的影响。方法 随机将100只MMTV-erbB-2转基因雌性小鼠分为早期干预组、晚期干预组、全程干预组和对照组,每组各25只,观察各组小鼠乳腺癌的发病率、潜伏期、肿瘤生长部位及肿瘤生长速度。结果 早期干预组、晚期干预组、全程干预组和对照组雌性小鼠乳腺癌的发病率分别为48%,28%,20%和92%;与对照组比较,其他3组发病率均降低(P<0.01);全程干预组发病率低于早期干预组(P<0.05);晚期干预组与早期干预组和全程干预组比较,发病率差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05);各组肿瘤发生部位主要在小鼠3对乳腺;各组小鼠乳腺癌潜伏期和肿瘤生长速度间差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论 大豆异黄酮对MMTV-erbB-2转基因雌性小鼠乳腺癌的发生、发展具有一定预防作用。

     

    Abstract: Objective To discuss the effect of soybean isoflavones on initiation and progression of breast cancer in MMTV-erbB-2 transgenic female mice.Methods One hundred MMTV-erbB-2 transgenic female mice were divided into four groups:early intervention,advanced intervention,full intervention,and control group.The incidence,latent period,tumor location,and tumor growth rate of breast cancer in the mice were observed.Results The incidence of breast cancer in early intervention,advanced intervention,full intervention,and the control group were 48%,28%,20%,and 92%,respectively. Compared with the control group,the incidence rate of other three groups was decreased significantly(P < 0.01).The inci dence rate of full intervention group was lower than that of early in tervention group(P < 0.05).There was no difference in the incidence rate between the early intervention group and advanced intervention group and full intervention group(P> 0.05).There was no significant difference in the latentperiod of breast cancer(P > 0.05).Tumor location in the four groups was at the three pairs of mammary gland.And the rate of tumor growth showed no significant difference in four groups (P > 0.05).Conclusion Soybean isoflavones have preventive effect on the initiation and development of breast cancer in MMTV-erbB-2 transgenicmice.
