农民工子弟艾滋病健康教育对其家长影响

Effect of health education about AIDS among migrant workers’ children on their parents

  • 摘要: 目的了解对农民工子弟进行艾滋病健康教育对其家长艾滋病相关知识和态度的影响,探索对农民工艾滋病健康教育的可行性方法。方法于2009年10—12月采用整群抽样方法,抽取江苏省南京市一所农民工子弟小学4~6年级学生281人进行艾滋病健康教育,并让其将所学知识传授给家长,分析其家长在干预前后艾滋病相关知识和态度的变化。结果干预后干预组家长除艾滋病预防知识外的各类艾滋病知识和总知识的得分均有明显提高(P<0.05),其中总知识得分由干预前的(11.02±4.65)分提高到了干预后的(12.86±4.01)分,一般知识得分由干预前的(1.52±1.04)分提高到了干预后的(1.81±0.99)分,传播途径知识得分由干预前的(3.01±2.21)分提高到了干预后的(3.56±1.74)分,非传播途径知识得分由干预前的(4.11±2.10)分提高到了干预后的(4.85±1.90)分;艾滋病相关态度也明显改善(P<0.05),其中认为艾滋病患者不该隔离的比例由干预前的24.5%(36/147)提高到了干预后的59.5%(78/131),同情和关心艾滋病患者的比例由干预前的63.3%(93/147)提高到了干预后的80.2%(105/131);对照组家长的各类艾滋病知识得分和对艾滋病的相关态度均无明显变化。结论学生与家长之间的相互交流可以扩大艾滋病知识的宣传面,开展以学校为中心的全民健康教育,对艾滋病的预防工作有着积极作用。

     

    Abstract: ObjectiveTo analyze the change of migrant workers'knowledge and attitude about acquired immunodeficiency syndrom(AIDS)after health education on AIDS carried out among their children,and to investigate effective methods of health education on AIDS.MethodsA primary school for the migrant workers'children in Nanjing was selected.Health education was firstly provided to the pupils of grade 4-6,then the pupils passed on the knowledge about AIDS to their parents.ResultsExcept the preventive knowledge,the score of the other knowledge related to AIDS and the total knowledge in the parents of the interventional group increased obviously after the health education,and the attitude towards AIDS of the patients was improved remarkably(P<0.05),but those of the parents in the control group showed no obvious increase.ConclusionThe communcation between the pupils and their parents can extend the coverage of AIDS health education.Health education performed among the students can play a positive role in the prevention of AIDS.
