Abstract: Objective To investigate anxiety status and its influencing factory during pregnancy among floating women from rural area and to and provide an evidence to mental health interventions in the women.Methods Using a self-designed questionnaire and Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),243 pregnant women in Ninth People's Hosptial of Wuxi,Jiangsu province were investigated.Results The incidence of prenatal anxiety among the women was 10.7%.Univariate analysis showed that the incidence of anxiety during pregnancy was not relevant with maternal age,gestational age,pregnant women's and their husband's career,and pregnant women's and their husband's education level.Logistic regression analysis showed that these variables did not enter the model.Conclusion Anxiety during pregnancy presents in the floating women from rural area.The factors affecting prenatal anxiety status of among rural migrant women during pregnancy need to be explored multivariately and maternal mental intervention should be emphasied in floating women from rural area.
