Protein expressions of EGFR,p53,and fascin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue and their clinical significance

  • 摘要: 目的探讨表皮生长因子受体(EGFR)、p53抑癌基因(p53)、肌成束蛋白(fascin)在鼻咽癌组织中的表达及意义, 为鼻咽癌不良预后的预测和改善提供依据。方法随机抽取2009年1月—2011年10月在郑州市人民医院耳鼻咽喉科住院的88例鼻咽癌患者, 采用免疫组化法检测患者鼻咽癌组织和癌旁正常组织中EGFR、p53和fascin表达水平, 分析EGFR、p53和fascin表达水平与患者临床病理特征和预后的关系。结果鼻咽癌组织中EGFR和fascin阳性表达率(82.95%和92.05%)均高于癌旁正常组织(10.23%和9.09%), p53阳性表达率(12.50%)低于癌旁正常组织(88.64%), 差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.001)。结论EGFR和fascin蛋白在鼻咽癌组织中的阳性表达率较高而p53蛋白阳性表达率较低, 3种蛋白均与鼻咽癌临床病理特征和预后情况相关。

     

    Abstract: ObjectiveTo explore protein expressions of epithelial growth factor receptor(EGFR),p53,and fascin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue and their clinical significance.MethodsImmunohistochemical method was used to detect protein expressions of EGFR,p53,and fascin in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue and adjacent normal tissue among 88 nasopharyngeal carcinoma inpatients randomly selected at a municipal hospital of Zhengzhou city from January 2009 through October 2011.Associations of EGFR,p53,and fascin expressions with prognosis and clinical-pathologic features of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were analyzed.ResultsThe positive rates of EGFR and fascin expressions in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue(82.95% and 92.05%)were significantly higher than those in the adjacent carcinoma normal tissue(0.23% and 9.09%)(both P<0.001);while the positive rate of p53 expression(12.50%)in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissue was significantly lower than that in the adjacent carcinoma normal tissue(88.64%,P<0.001).ConclusionEGFR and fascin protein expression rate is high while p53 expression rate is low in nasopharyngeal carcinoma tissues and the expressions relate with clinical-pathological features and prognosis of the carcinoma.
