Abstract:
Objective To conduct comparative studies on antibacterial activity of antibacterial protein from the induced housefly larva by two methods, and observation of dynamic changes of antibacterial protein.
Methods The housefly larva were injecteded by E.coli and S.aureus, compared with antibacterial activity of antibacterial protein from haemolymph and tissue homogenate after being induced 12, 24, 36, 48, 60 h.
Results Antibacterial protein from tissue homogenate was more antibacterial activity than that from haemolymph. After induced 48 h by S.aureus, antibacterial protein of housefly larva was more active against bacteria, but after induced 36 h by E.coli, antibacterial protein was more activity.
Conclusion Extration of antibacterial protein from tissue homogenate was a better method, and antibacterial protein was more activity after induced 36-48 h.
